MARK'S Inc. ||| Relief Activities for People and Areas Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake

We pray for the souls of those who lost their lives in the earthquake in the northeastern part of Japan and extend our deepest sympathy to everyone who suffered personal or property loss.
We would like to make this brief report on relief actions decided by Mark's Inc. to this point. We will continue to do whatever we can for those affected by the most disastrous earthquake that has ever been experienced.

1 . Monetary Donation

We will make a monetary donation through the Japanese Red Cross Society:

In addition, we have received contributions from the following overseas business partners, and will deliver those to the Japanese Red Cross Society along with our own donation. We deeply appreciate this support from beyond national borders.

2 . Supplies

We will contribute stationery and writing implements to elementary and junior-high-school students in the affected areas through the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNESCO). We will report when this is done.

3 . Mark's Charity Action

In addition to our initial donation, we are working on a means whereby we will continually donate a portion of our earnings. We will announce details of that - to be called "Mark's Charity Action" - by the end of this month.

We sincerely pray for the speediest possible recovery of the survivors of the earthquake and tsunami, and for the restoration of the affected communities.
